founders' day!

yesterday(25-7-2005), was mgs's 118th founders' day! it was kinda fun. we ended school early. we celebrated in the morning at blackmore drive. it's all newly renovated. cant wait to go back there next year. have to get good grades to go back to mg. they raised the cut-off point for old school girls to 220 in stead of 200. anyways, it's still better than coming from another skool and needing to get 250+ to get in. went to auditorium for assembly. then went up to the NE hall to celebrate founder's day. p6's must go there. so mar fan. founders' day dinner at Shangrila Hotel was FANTASTIC! it was so fun. started at 7.30pm but loads of people were already there when i reached there at 7+. fetched gigi and mich d. then went together. met steph, evelyn and rach there. we took photo with quite alot of teachers. the food was ok. but it was so exxxxx. the cost is like $75. actually there was a children's meal. tat only costs 30 bucks. but i din noe earlier so cannot book the table. only found out on that day itself. hmmph.we had some performance and stuff. saw tracy there too. we had this performance by primary school kids called 'cats'. then we had some fashion show or something by the secondary girls. actually it was called 'balancing books'. the sec 4 girls put up some kind of performance by singing and let us see a video clip of themselves at the end. even the girls tat left school last yr came back. mrs yeo looked really different n we teased lao shi of wearing such a low cut dress. left shangrila at bout 10+. reached home at 11+. so tired. almost couldn't wake up to go to school today. *yawns* wonder if i can go again in sec 4.
